The main objective of setting up the NI Hyatt venture was to establish a non-loss business with a social purpose to achieve the following critical success factors:

• To offer a meaningful support services provision to the local refugee and migrant communities, including young people (age 11 to 17), male and female adults and the elderly
• To give the Arabic speaking families settled within the ABC and NMD Council areas a voice and an identity with opportunities to –

1. Establish social connections
2. Promote wellbeing and appropriate access to services
3. Promote meaningful integration and empower independent living
4. Ensure effective representation in decision making and community life
5. Promote awareness of beneficiaries’ existent skills, provide advice and training opportunities to build capacity within the local community, to develop employability pathways and reduce social exclusion.
